£2000 Grant Awarded to West Monkton

Today we have received confirmation that Somerset Community Foundation has considered our application for funding and would like to offer a grant of £2,000.00 towards Equipment Storage Shed to replace our current shed to the right of the shelter.

This grant is being made from the Taunton Youth & Community Centre Fund managed by Somerset Community Foundation. The Somerset Community Foundation manages over 84 different funds on behalf of individuals, companies, and local government. Most of the grants that are made from these funds are called Foundation Grants. They are awarded every three months by a panel of local people.

West Monkton will start work over the next few months and aim to complete this ready for spring.
