49 Scouts from West Monkton off to France for International Opportunity

49 Cubs, Scouts and Leaders from West Monkton Scout Group are leaving for France today in order to take part in the Groups first International opportunity that is being held at a lakeside camp near the medieval town of Ardres.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
