Cubs Kayaking 2019

Date: 26th May 2019 Author: Siobhan Ellett

The Cubs took to the water on the river tone and learnt a range of skills and for some, a first go in a kayak. We all played games, from running along the top of the boats to standing up in the boats doing the YMCA. BALANCE WAS KEY. We all went down the river towards town but on the way, there were a few Cubs that capsized. They all carried on smiling but they did find out the water was cold 🙂

A big thank you goes to Pat, Jason and Jess for the support on the water and also to the amazing parents that supported us to move boats back and forth.
