Scouts County Challenge

Date: 19th Nov 2018 Author: West Monkton

Wow! Well What an evening tonight has been! The County Challenege this year took place at Huish Woods In which small teams were tasked to work their way around campsites completing challenges. It was a really good evening with lots of Scout Groups from all over the County participating. One of our teams (Kestrels) came 3rd, by only 2 points!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
